DESIGN Process
From the idea to the sign, from the drawing
to the prototype.
Here's what happens in Adone's Studio .
The shapes of Adone are the result of a project that goes beyond imagination: the modeling phases, the choice of materials and the development of the first prototype are the necessary steps for a simple drawing to become a finished product.
Only after this study, Adone meets the expert hands of Tuscan leather masters, who carefully transform the idea into reality.

“The artist works with fantasy,
while the designer uses creativity."
Bruno Munari
Each Adone creation passes through multiple hands, through multiple skills: it follows a process that includes the intellectual and manual work of multiple actors.
If it is true that the sign of Adonis was born from Anna's pencil, it takes shape only thanks to the know-how of specialized artisans who have made their work a symbol of excellence in the world of fashion and luxury.
Creating a dialogue between the designer and the craftsman, between innovation and tradition, represents a central value of the Adone project.
Thanks to this exchange, the designer learns the manufacturing techniques, the limits of the processes as well as the possibilities useful for the development of his own idea, while the craftsman, strong in the baggage of ancient knowledge, can operate in a future perspective thanks to the innovative impulse of the designer.

THE BUCKLE
Pure BRASS, painted with a small amount of real GOLD to enhance its color and shine. This accessory was designed to be the only metal element of Adone.
The rest of the bag must remain free of any ornamentation, so that the shapes, leathers and colours can stand out.

Limited quantities and sustainable times for quality production enhance the work and know-how handed down by generations of artisans.
For this reason, each item in the Adone collections is numbered and produced in a limited quantity of pieces, respecting the slow rhythm of the hands and in accordance with a modus operandi that aims to promote the tradition of Italian leather goods as a fundamental value of the brand, together with that of the project.

BEYOND TRADITION
Some of the manufacturers with which Adone collaborates operate with innovative production tools, while maintaining their roots firmly in tradition.
The labels, for example, are made using precision printers that allow for the reproduction of high-resolution, excellently detailed designs and colors on leather.
